HAPPY NEW YEAR!

DAYS OF THE WEEK - song

¿Sabrías adivinar qué días de la semana faltan en los huecos?

Friday i'm in Love
(by The Cure)

i don't care if ________'s blue
__________'s grey and __________ too
__________ i don't care about you
it's __________ i'm in love

__________ you can fall apart
__________ __________ break my heart
__________ doesn't even start
it's __________ i'm in love

__________ wait
and __________ always comes too late
but __________ never hesitate...

i don't care if __________'s black
__________ __________ heart attack
__________ never looking back
it's __________ i'm in love

__________ you can hold your head
__________ __________ stay in bed
or __________ watch the walls instead
it's __________ i'm in love
__________ wait
and __________ always comes too late
but __________ never hesitate...

dressed up to the eyes
it's a wonderful surprise
to see your shoes and
your spirits rise
throwing out your frown
and just smiling at the sound
and as sleek as a shriek
spinning round and round
always take a big bite
it's such a gorgeous sight
to see you in the middle of the night
you can never get enough
enough of this stuff
it's __________
i'm in love

Pronunciation: Magic "e"

The objective of the exercises is to understand how to pronounce words which are written with a final, silent "e".
The meaning of the words is not important. Some words are very uncommon.
Here is a question to ask yourself: What is the function of the silent letter "e" at the end of some words? Try and find the answer for yourself as you do the exercises. You can check your hypothesis at the end in the final Magic "e" rule exercise.
